Hatchling
Male, 8lbs 11oz, 9:48am.
Mother exhausted but fine. Baby is healthy and hungry, despite being two weeks early. Father is going down the pub.
Today I witnessed one of lifes little miracles and can now understand why people are so wowed by the experience.

That’s one down, two more to go. Friends of mine are expecting their second child any day now, and my brother and his wife expect their first in another week or so.

Congratulations to you and you wife! as the missus said I agree re: the miracle of birth, it was so miraculous when my daughter was born that I passed out in a pool of vomit! and woke up to three brunnete busty nurses patting my forehead with a damp cloth! Enjoy him as from experience they grow up and get an attitude far too quickly…
