What’s your pint?
I tried two new bitters over the weekend.
The first was Archers “Spirit of the Sea”, a seasonal beer only available this month. While it was reasonably strong (4.4% ABV), it actually looked and tasted quite light and had a sweet, caramel-ish after taste. Very pleasant pint.
Second was a pint of Bateman’s Jesters IPA (3.5% ABV) Ironically, this was darker than the Spirit (and so not very “pale” at all) and had quite a tangy taste. It was a good pint but didn’t impress me much compared to the Spirit.
This could be a new feature of the site except that I’m likely to forget to keep it updated and it’ll be a one off. Still, as and when I remember to review a pint, I’ll let you know.
