Actually, Gordon, I'd probably say that they're worth seeing. It was odd: I sang along to a bunch of stuff, which I thought I wouldn't; they were great entertainers, and their dialogue with their 50% teenaged crowd was just about bearable; and their choice of songs and pacing was great.

On the other hand, I felt kinda separate from it. It wasn't for me. You know: not for me. I felt like an Emerson, Lake and Palmer fan at an early Pistols gig, realising that although I liked what was happening, it was aimed at someone else.

I should blog that, I suppose. One mention of MCR and a thousand little emo-kids will boost my hitcounter.

Wow. Someone admitting they are off to see MCR... Wow.

Tempted to catch them in March... maybe... dunno. I don't think I'm a big enough fan, more a 'greatest hits' type if you know what I mean.

Speaking of Nine Inch Nails, have you heard this? It's brilliant.

I decided not to go. I saw them back at the time of Pretty Hate Machine, and they were astounding, spectacular, amazing. I don't think going back would make it better. Plus, having seen the Teenage Fannies a few weeks ago, playing Bandwagonesque, I have used up my retro allowance.

I'm off to see Tool and (for the wife) My Chemical Romance this month. I'm really looking forward to the former in particular. The latter should be a laugh.

Funny enough, I've been debating the same thing, and came to much the same conclusion.

All the same, it'll be storming.

I ordered on Saturday through the subscribers pre-order. Was tempted to go two nights but don't think that will go down well with the management.

Arses - When I looked on Monday, the Thursday was unavailable. So I ended up getting the Wednesday ticket.

Definitely going to leave my camera at home though...

And Massive Attack in Feb. Blinding!
