When it looks like he's hiked about a mile or two from one place to another, in fact he's been transported by helicopter between two locations, possibly hundreds of miles apart. Our guide worked with them when they were doing the episode in Alaska. And most of the survival tips he gives are guaranteed to kill you or make you very ill. I'm a Ray Mears man myself. I saw that "Jaws 2" picture this morning and yeah, you're absolutely right. The fin is the shark's finger print and there is no way on earth that the fin they claim is that of a Great White is anything other than a Basking shark. Lyle - hysteria and sensationalism I expect. Of course the Sun knocks out this crap 'cause it sells and how many readers have the time or inclination to bother googling it as I've done ....
