I'm suspecting that the comment I left has been pegged as spam for having a whole two links in it.

Fuckin' thing.

I still find one of the strangest films around is "M", from about 1932. ( http://www.lovefilm.com/product/14407-M.html )

You could also try out some of the Luis Bunuel films - particularly Exterminating Angel ( http://www.lovefilm.com/product/68933-The-Exterminating-Angel.html ) some of which are really quite disturbing, but not in classic "horror" ways.

Other than that, there's always the things like Reanimator etc., but I'm guessing you've seen them already.

Oh, and anything with Tom Cruise in it is enough to reduce me to the screaming willies.

Good points well made. Don't worry about what I have or haven't seen - obviously those I've listed I've seen but you might suggest something that I'd forgotten about and haven't seen in a long time so will be willing to watch it again. Secondly, being available through Lovefilm is more a matter of convenience than a necessity. Finally; good point but almost irrelevant as I'm keen to watch stuff that other people find scary more than to be scared. It's more for research and inspiration than anything.

I would dearly love to answer this but there are a couple of problems: I don't know everything you've seen, I don't know what's available on LoveFilm and, lastly, one man's scary is another man's silly! I can still give it a think though!
