I did the same. I just felt it was fair to still give a spoiler warning. re: hard as nails. Are we talking about the same man who said "You've just killed someone I liked. You don't want to be standing there right now - look me up!" That's pretty hard as nails if you ask me. Also, didn't he say something in one of these last two episodes about pretty much being a god? I know he's not meant to be a superhero and I know that he does get into these life-threatening situations, it's just that twice this season he's been saved at the last minute by someone taking his place rather than just being saved. However, I'm not going to rag on it too much because I'm not very into the dissecting of Dr Who plotpoints (which is also not a dig at you but definitely a dig at some other sites that do take it all a little too seriously.) Anyway, even from within the new series the idea that he doesn't take on doing things that could kill him doesn't entirely work -- he sucked the vortex out of Rose (though that did cause the regeneration), he was up on the Empire State Building antennae [ignore the shitty science of that], he took on the 'Burn With Me' sun... and that's without going back to the old series...
