… The Dark Knight IS that good.

It’s nearly 24 hours later and I can’t help but think about the film and wonder if I can squeeze in another screening tonight. Already arranged to go and see it on IMAX with a friend but in the meantime, now I’ve had a day to digest, I think I need to see it again.

I haven’t felt like that about a film for a long time.

The more I think about it, the more I’d like to see Nolan’s take on the Riddler. We’re all used to either Frank Gorshin giggling his way through cardboard deathtraps while mocking Adam West and Burt Ward or the psycho-stalker take played up by Jim Carrey. Something more refined, intelligent, cold and calculating might be in order - something that would be a total contrast to the psychopathic anarachy purveyed by The Joker. I also think a character like that would definitely suit the director of The Prestige and Memento.
